Trumpet Concerto for David Elton

Australian trumpet player David Elton will workshop and premiere the Trumpet Concerto.. David is Principal trumpet with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, as well as Associate Principal trumpet with the London Symphony Orchestra

David has long championed new Australian music. He performs a varied repertoire in his recitals around the world, both as a soloist and on tour with the Australian Brass Quintet.

The Trumpet Concerto will feature contemporary elements mashed together with more traditional classical writing, allowing the soloist to explore different styles and techniques, and take the listener on a journey outside the concert hall. Published by Wirripang with strings or piano accompaniment
