Winter Music a semi-finalist

After submitting Winter Music (Piano Sonata 1) to the Musica Prospettiva call for scores, I was honoured the work made it to semi-finalist stage out of over 400 submissions from around the world.

Musica Prospettiva are a progressive new music organisation based in Italy. They organise and promote concerts, workshops, commissions, and an annual call for scores that is always very well patronised.

Winter Music was written as part of my post-graduate studies at the University of Melbourne, and has been successful as a submission in the past. The work was recorded by Australian pianist and educator Emma Cutting in 2010, and can be found on the Classical page, under Keyboard. The score is available from the Australian Music Centre
