Winter Music a semi-finalist

Winter Music made it to semi-finalist stage of a prestigious international competition, out of over 400 submissions from around the world.

Musica Prospettiva are a progressive new music organisation based in Italy. They organise and promote concerts, workshops, commissions, and an annual call for scores that is always very well patronised.

Winter Music is a sonata for solo piano, written as part of post-graduate studies at the University of Melbourne. It has been successful as a submission in the past. The work was recorded by Australian pianist and educator Emma Cutting in 2010, and is available from the Australian Music Centre
