Concertino performed in Spain

Sérgio Carolino will perform the Concertino for tuba and band commissioned by him, at the 31st International Festival of Music in Castille, Spain. He will perform alongside a dazzling line up of international artists, and amongst performances across a wide variety of music styles.

Sérgio has long been a champion of new music, and commissioned the Concertino to premiere with the Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa conducted by Francisco Ferreira, during the 2015 São João Festival in Porto, Portugal. It is published by Potenza Music USA, and has been recorded several times.
