Concertino with the Grainger Wind Symphony

Concertino for solo tuba and band was performed by Per Forsberg and the Grainger Wind Symphony, conducted by Roland Yeung. The piece trades traditional wind band musical language with funk and improvisation, and sounded great in the soaring acoustics of St Stephen's Anglican Church, Richmond. Per Forsberg has performed many contemporary Australian works, and is an extremely busy musician in many capacities.
