Melbourne Digital Concert Hall

Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Principal Tubist Tim Buzbee performed The Old House as part of the Melbourne Digital Concert Hall series, streamed live online by 5stream from the Athanaem Theatre in downtown Melbourne. Tim was accompanied on piano by Stefan Cassomenos, as part of a low brass feature concert that also included MSO Principal Bass Trombone Mike Szabo.

The Old House is a wistful ballad, painting a picture of the old family home, long sold and impossible to return to. It gives the tuba soloist a rare chance to show the warm, expressive, beautiful tone a tuba can produce. It is published by Reed Music
