ABC releases Trumpet Concerto

The Trumpet Concerto for David Elton has been given a digital release by the ABC.

Recorded in Sydney, David was the soloist with the Sydney String Virtuosi, conducted by Umberto Clerici. The recording was produced by Andre Shrimski, and was a result of the ABC Fresh Start Funding project.

The Concerto blends classical with funk, minimalism with ballads, and culminates with a wild dance for trumpet and strings. The sheet music is published by Wirripang along with a version for trumpet and piano
