Paul Lowin Qantas Youth Award

Triptych won the Qantas Youth Award of the Paul Lowin Prize. The piece is a chamber song cycle based on Chinese texts. Also at the Sydney award ceremony were Orchestral Prize winner Julian Yu, and Song Cycle Prize winner Brenton Broadstock. The prize money went towards a study tour that included lessons with UK master John McCabe, and arranger Ian Finkel on Broadway
